The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) is a nonpartisan American public policy and grantmaking institution dedicated to promoting greater cooperation and understanding between North America and Europe. It does this by supporting individuals and institutions working on transatlantic issues.
Founded in 1972 through a gift from Germany as a permanent memorial to Marshall Plan assistance, GMF maintains a strong presence on both sides of the Atlantic. In addition to its headquarters in Washington, DC, GMF has seven offices in Europe: Berlin, Bratislava, Paris, Brussels, Belgrade, Ankara, and Bucharest.
Apollo supports GMF in publicizing their pamphlets, policy documents, surveys and reports in high level international publications. We have been chosen because of our expertise in foreign policy media relations. For example we helped gain media coverage for their report examining how Europeans and Americans differ in their attitude towards security threats, gaining extensive coverage in the UK in The Times, Telegraph, Economist, FT, Guardian and BBC Website.
"Apollo has access to high level media and knows how to sell a story to them. They are smart, effective and efficient"
Elizabeth Boswell Rega, Deputy Director of Communications, German Marshall Fund of the United States
