The European Foundation Centre (EFC) - an umbrella organization that represents non-profit foundations and corporate funders of philanthropic work throughout Europe.

Apollo worked with the EFC to write a publication bringing together their experiences of trying to create a diverse workplace. As research for this publication, we interviewed staff members and managers from charities including the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust in the UK, the King Baudouin Foundation in Belgium, and the Fundaçao Calouste Gulbenkian in Portugal, and presented a document in which staff spoke about their experiences candidly and which pointed out huge national differences in the way that institutions deal with race.
